Rules
Organized by the Elevato Piano Competition based in Germany

-Chopin Festival is open to participants of all nationalities.

-The competition comprises of participants from ages 16 and up

-The competition takes place in
 3 locations:

Toyosu - March 20, 2026, 18:00-21: 30

Nippori - March 22, 2026, 13:00—22:00

Yokohama - March 24, 2026, 13:00-22:00



-The application deadline is December 15, 2025
Applications open on Open November 15, 2025
The age of the participant is considered as of December 31, 2025

-After the preselection round, 8 to 10 winners will be selected to participate in the next 3 rounds in Toyosu, Nippori and Yokohama. (All 3 rounds)


-1 grand prize winner will receive the following prize:

Application Deadline

-Competition repertoire must be played from memory

-The Competition's Commitee has the authority to interpret the rules of the competition, and make any changes if necessary.

-Videos are not suggested to be filmed more than
8 months prior to submission. 

-The video must clearly show the pianist’s face and hands in the frame at all times.
The video m
ust be shot from one fixed angle/position. The quality of the videos
must be good and clear. The sound of the videos should not have any echo

-Videos are not advised to be filmed from any other concert performance. Videos must have been filmed specifically for the Elevato Piano Competition - Chopin Edition
