Age Categories (Concerto - Online)

-Please contact us if you wish to perform concerto repertoire different from those mentioned in the reference concerto list 

​

-1 to 2 movements maximum

​

 

Category A

14 and under

Category B

18 and under 

 

Category C

19 and up

Competition Rules (For Online Participation)

​

-Participants may apply for both the piano solo category and the concerto category

 

-​To enter concerto category, it is not compulsory to do the solo piano category.

 

-Pianists of all nationalities aged 14 and under, 18 and under, 19 and up may participate.

​

-The age of the participant is considered as of December 31 2022

​

-There will be one round

​

First Round

The Jury will evaluate participants through video recordings. The applications are due on May 24 2023. The results will be announced by June 5 2023.

​

-1 to 2 winners will be chosen overall out of all categories

​

-Participants may not make any attempt to be in contact with any of the jury during the competition, and vice-versa. Jury members will not evaluate their own students.

 

-Participants will be evaluated on a point based system from 80 to 100 points. The final results given by the jury are not subject to change.

 

-Video applications must have been recorded by the participant, within the past 12  months. Videos should be recorded in one camera angle, without any editing or changes. Participants’ entire silhouette and hands should be clearly visible. Recordings with orchestra are not recommended, but acceptable.

-The name of the pieces should be written in the video's title

 

-Program change after application is not allowed.

​

-Participants who apply more than 3x in a row will receive a recommendation letter from the Elevato Piano Competition
